Winchester Cathedral ice rink

Winchester Cathedral and Zurich are pleased to announce that for a second year running a seasonal outdoor ice skating rink will operate in the Cathedral grounds from 30th November 2007 to 6th January 2008. The ice rink is located in the Inner Close with the Cathedral providing a stunning backdrop. There is a café immediately behind the ice rink that sells seasonal refreshments. Details of the ice rink times and booking arrangements are outlined below.

Operating Hours


Sessions last one hour including skate fitting. Session start times are as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday
10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3.30, 4.30, 5.30, 6.30, 7.30

Thursday, Friday and Saturday
10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3.30, 4.30, 5.30, 6.30, 7.30, 8.30
